Pramjit Singh

Pramjit Singh is a law graduate from University of London (external). He was then admitted to the Malaysian Bar on 24 April 1999 and later commenced his legal career at a banking firm, Messrs Choong Yik Sons & Fiona Ghaus for a few years and followed by Messrs S.Y. Lee & Mohd Noor, a general litigation firm.

In 2005, he moved to Kuala Lumpur and joined Messrs Manjit Singh Sachdev, Mohammad Radzi & Partners. Pramjit then joined Messrs K.K. Lim & Associates in 2008 and formed JLDS with Ms. Jess Ling in 2016.

Pramjit has a wide experience in banking law and general litigation. His areas of practice are primarily focused on banking litigation involving MBF Finance Berhad (now known as Ambank (M) Berhad) and was appointed as a counsel to represent Ambank (M) Berhad to defend the bank and their panel solicitors.  

He once acted for an architect client, which involved the issuance of “ CCC” for then famous project at Batu Caves. It was stopped by the Selangor Menteri Besar, Tan Sri Khalid where the Majlis Perbandaran Selayang was involved and the purchasers of the project as well as other litigation disputes involving land dealings.

As a counsel, he was also demanded for disputes involving land matters, arbitration, commercial contract, management bodies amongst others as well as matters involving conveyancing disputes involving individuals as well as developers and also conduct criminal trials.
